Book clubs have continued to do well in our first week. Students are eagerly reading many of the novels, learning more about how not all children have the same rights as we do in Canada.
In Science students developed a better understanding of what an extreme environment is and why each is considered extreme. Canadians have developed many innovations which allow human to live in some of these environments. We will be delving into some of the contributions made by Canadians.

I am a grade 7 teacher who has been teaching in the Surrey School District for over 28 years. I love to read, garden, walk, and spend time with family, friends and my golden retriever Kona.
