With semester break happening at Clayton Heights, we were lucky to have alumni return for the day. One of the students arrived bright and early and was a wonderful help to me. Oh, how we miss our Titans of old!
Many students were happy to finally show off their renewed knowledge of the world with their Socials test today. Many felt that they had learned and improved greatly since doing the pre test 3 weeks ago.
COncrete poetry was on everyone's mind this morning. Sharing of ideas, connecting with things that matter to us spurred on the imaginations of the class. Tomorrow the students will continue to write their poems incorporating the shapes, the images they have used to share their ideas. I can't wait.
1) Math - grade 7s pg. 157 #8 - 15
Mr. hong - look up 3 specific
Ms Findlay - pg 189 # 7 - 16, finish % work
Ms Wilson - pg 188 #1-3, worksheets
2) LA - if struggled to get ideas going today for your concrete poem, work on it tonight. Criteria is shared on google docs.
3) PE tomorrow.
4) Please check at home for atlases we are missing a number.
Penny drive is on until Friday. Please continue to bring them in.
